  • Flour Bloom is a bakery, flower shop, and coffee bar in inner NE Portland, inspired by the owner's childhood on Long Island and a 1970s aesthetic. The project transformed a 4,300 sq/ft former vacuum shop into a warm, inviting commercial space, complete with a commercial kitchen.

The scope included a change of occupancy, all-new MEP systems, new partition walls, casework, kitchen equipment, furniture, finishes, and lighting fixtures. Given the complexity of the design, close collaboration with Weedman Design Partners was essential. A thorough pre-construction process and strong communication ensured the owner’s vision was realized.

The final space seamlessly blends nostalgic 70s design with modern updates, featuring unique materials and a thoughtfully curated atmosphere.
