As the shop manager, Gary is tasked with mentoring and managing the shop team while overseeing the shop projects, including collaborating on pre-construction and design, leading material acquisitions, fabrication, scheduling, and quality control through all phases of the project. Gary was hooked after his first woodshop class in 7th grade and started working in a local cabinet shop right out of high school. For eleven years, Gary managed his own full-service design and build shop specializing in custom cabinetry and furniture.

Although Gary has been responsible for some large build-outs across town, he is very proud of the movie poster cases for the iconic Hollywood Theater in NE Portland. During his time off he enjoys fishing, hunting, hiking, backpacking, and a bit of mountain biking.
