After working as a social worker with adults with developmental disabilities for many years Erik needed a change. Many of his friends worked in construction so they encouraged him to apply for some jobs at their firms. He started as a laborer, but over time he built up his skills as a carpenter and now enjoys finish carpentry the most. In his spare time Erik enjoys reading - anything fiction, fantasy, or science fiction.
